A light and flavorful beer in every aspect.  A perfect crowd pleaser for a summer day.

 

Grist: 

10 lb Avanguard 2-Row Pale

.33 lb German Carafoam

Strike: 3.4 gal @ 167F  Mash: 45min @ 154F  Sparge: 4 gal @ 171F

Boil: 

60 min 6.5 HBU's (We used 1 oz Liberty @ 6.5%AAU

20 min 1 whirlflooc tablet 

15 min .75oz German Noble Hop (We had .8 oz German Tettnanger)

Yeast: 

Wy2565 Kolsch (The most important part of the recipe, you can fudge everything else but this.)
