Important notice of Store Hours change
Dear valued customer,

We are announcing 2 new policies regarding sales of hops and grains.

First, due to the ongoing hop shortage, we must further limit sales of hops.  Quantities of hops ordered must be matched by sufficient quantities of malt.  Specifically, for each ounce of hops in an order, 2 pounds of grain malt must be purchased OR for every 2 ounces of hops in an order, 1 3.3 lb can of malt extract or 3 lb bag of dried malt extract must be purchased.  We are no longer able to fill orders of  hops only.  We believe these requirements will allow for liberal hopping in your recipes while still insuring enough hops will continue to be available to our regular customers.

The hop shortage is expected to continue until the 2009 harvest.
We continue to be confident that there will be a sufficient hop supply and that homebrewers, always at the forefront of recipe experimentation, will develop new and interesting recipes.

Second, due to increased energy and labor costs, we are compelled to charge for grain grinding, effective immediately.  The charge will be 20 cents per pound of grain ground.  Plus we cannot extend bulk or other discounts to grain ground.

To ease the burden of grinding your own grain if you're not already doing so, we are offering $5.00 off the purchase of a Corona Grain Mill and $10.00 off the purchase of a Schmidling Malt Mill.  Both mills are adjustable and do a great job.  This special offer extends through February 2, 2008.
